Palliative Care

The Palliative Care Program is designed to assist people who are living with a life threatening illness.

Its purpose is to promote and increase the quality of life for the patient and their family.

Along with pain and symptom management, palliative care offers spiritual, emotional and psychological support. Symptoms are monitored and the patient is kept as comfortable as possible.

The Palliative Care Program also offers comfort and support services for families who have lost a loved one. Referrals can be made by the individual, friends, family, neighbors, nurses, or doctors.
